Mes met zilveren heft, J.K. Smedema / Dokkum (?), 18e eeuws. De Bree 256 The stem and bowl are18th century silver knife handle with band decoration of bunches of grapes and leaves. Equipped with a newer blade from AH Becker from Groningen. The handle has been re inspected with Z11 for second grade silver. There is also a worn master mark to be discovered. If I may make an attempt, it could be Jippe Klases Smedema (Foot 384) from Dokkum. He worked from 1781 to 1790. The length of the knife is: 31 cm. Weight: 142. 3 grams.
