Zilveren geboortelepel, A.M. Sustring, Sneek, 1839 FZM popular from about 1890 toSilver birth spoon, made by the Frisian silversmith A. M. Sustring from Sneek. He was active from 1835 to 1870. The spoon is topped with a fisherman with fish and a fyke net. This depiction is quite rare. The spoon is hallmarked with the second fineness mark, year letter E for 1839, Minerva head, and master's mark AS107. Engraved on the bowl of the spoon: Sjoukje Eiles Boersma born on 18 July 1804. In good condition. Weight: 40. 1 grams. Length: 20 cm.
