He was a master from 1763 to 1802. The spoon is hallmarked with the master's mark JS, Amsterdam city mark, fineness mark, and the year letter V for 1780. The spoon is topped with a musketeer. The spoon was once gilded; remnants of gilding are visible. The spoon features a touchmark for fineness testing. The spoon is in excellent condition. Weight: 51. 4 grams.
