Schmidt, Amsterdam, 1793 van Straten Hoorn active from 1852 to 1868Silver sprinkling spoon with an openwork bowl, made by the Amsterdam silversmith Jan Valentijn Schmidt. He worked from 1787 to 1810. Jan Valentijn Schmidt was a small scale worker and mainly focused on sugar sprinkling spoons. The spoon with a scalloped edge has a cup at the bottom of the handle and a dove on the top.
