Mid-Century Modern Buildings of Chicago 11" x 14" Print christmas Let the world's greatest musiciansIn mid century Chicago, architect Mies Van Der Rohe and his disciples made lasting statements on the skyline. Their elegant and minimalist designs were powerful unions of steel and glass. The impact of the work from this so called "Second Chicago School" still resonates throughout the city's architecture and design cultures. To create the print, artist Phil Thompson drew the buildings in pen and ink, then scanned and assembled them, before coloring
