1895 Steel Engraving Portrait Doctor Dr. Francis Huebschmann Milwaukee HWC1 XDF9 This is an original 1917This is an original 1895 black and white steel engraving of a portrait of Dr. Francis (Franz) Huebschmann, who came to Milwaukee in 1841. He served as a staff surgeon for the 26th Wisconsin Volunteer Regiment during the American Civil War, and later aided in the founding of the Twenty Sixth Regiment Association.
