1913 Print General Toscheff Bulgaria Commander Balkan War Uniform Soldier XEI7 SEP2 This is an original 1900This is an original 1913 black and white halftone print of General Toscheff of Bulgaria. He was a commanding general at the Battle of Kirk Kiliss during the Balkan War. He ordered the Taranova regiment to pursue the retreating Turkish forces, however only 1,200 of the 9,000 soldiers of the regiment returned. Disgraced, and stripped of his rank by King Ferdinand, Gen. Toscheff committed suicide shortly afterward. CONDITION This 98+ year old Item is
